SESPRS 2018 Scientific Meeting
General Abstract Submission


Please follow the instructions below to submit your abstract for the SESPRS 61st Annual Scientific Meeting to be held June 17-20, 2018 at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. The deadline to submit your abstract is March 15, 2018- Midnight EST. Abstracts received after midnight will not be considered. If you are having trouble submitting your abstract and/or supporting materials, or have any questions, contact the Society office info@sesprs.org or (435) 901-2544.


Rules and Guidelines
1. Any member in good standing may submit an abstract. Nonmembers may also submit abstracts, but the submission must be sponsored by a member in good standing. The membership status of your sponsor will be reviewed and confirmed by SESPRS staff prior to grading. Call us at (435) 901-2544 for assistance with this part of the process, if needed.

2. The individual submitting the abstract will be the main contact for all correspondence. If the submitting author is not a SEPSRS Member the sponsoring SESPRS Member must commit to being present at the meeting for the abstract to be considered.

3. A Disclosure Form from the main author & presenter must be provided at the time of abstract submission. Abstracts will be screened for conflict of interest, based on disclosure, prior to assessment by reviewers. CLICK HERE to be directed to the online disclosure form.

4. Abstracts will not be considered if an author is employed by any commercial interests that are associated with the content of the abstract. The ACCME defines a commercial interest as: any entity producing, marketing, re-selling or distributing healthcare goods or services consumed by, or used on patients.

5. Final data MUST be included in the abstract. Clear representations of graphs, tables and photographs included in the abstract will be helpful in making the final selections. Images must be of excellent quality. Abstracts May NOT be more than 250 words.

6. Abstracts reviewed by the Committee will be blinded, so please keep the abstract clean of any identifiable institutional information and author(s) names.

7. All abstracts must be submitted electronically.

8. Abstracts may be submitted for verbal presentation or poster session. If an abstract is accepted for podium presentation you will be notified of your presentation date and time. Those abstracts not chosen for presentation at the General Session may be offered the opportunity to present as a poster.

9. You will receive an e-mail confirmation of your abstract submission. Acceptance notification will be made in Spring 2018.
